Key Responsibilities
- Lead API test automation activities using Rest Assured (Java) or Robot Framework (Python).
- Work effectively within Agile teams and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and JIRA-based tracking.
- Design, develop, and execute API test cases for REST and SOAP services.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test execution reports, and test sign-off documentation.
- Perform API validation using tools such as Postman.
- Support testing activities involving file transfer processes and related tools such as WinSCP.
- Collaborate with development, business, and QA stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
- Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in API automation testing using Rest Assured (Java) or Robot Framework (Python).
- Demonstrated experience leading test automation initiatives and performing Test Lead responsibilities in enterprise environments.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and Agile ceremonies.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and SOAP/XML services.
- Experience using Postman for API testing.
- Hands-on experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test sign-off reports.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with File Transfer Protocol (FTP) processes.
- Knowledge of WinSCP or similar file transfer tools.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as CloudWatch and SNS.
- Experience with enterprise application integration testing.
Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 100,000 Per Year
