Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Test Lead / Quality Engineering Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives across the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in end-to-end testing, test automation, and modern quality engineering practices. This role requires leadership in defining test strategies, building scalable automation frameworks, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end quality assurance activities across multiple projects and releases.
• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and quality metrics.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks and test suites.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
• Oversee functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality engineering, automation, and release processes.
• Identify quality risks, troubleshoot defects, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers on testing best practices and automation methodologies.
• Support CI/CD integration and promote shift-left testing practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in End-to-End Testing and QA Leadership.
• Proven expertise in Test Automation Frameworks and automation strategy implementation.
• Deep understanding of Quality Engineering principles, SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle management, and test governance.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks for web, API, and integration testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within relevant business or industry domains.
• Strong background in API and Integration Testing, including RESTful services, microservices, and third-party integrations.
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and modern intelligent test automation platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
