Senior Full Stack Developer – Java / Angular
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with leadership skills to join a high-performing engineering team building modern, customer-facing web applications and resilient backend services. The role involves designing, implementing, and operating high-scale APIs and frontend applications using Angular and Java.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a dynamic team covering both onshore and offshore.
- Build and maintain client-facing Angular applications and Java Spring Boot backend services.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, microservices, and Kafka integrations.
- Write high-quality code supported by automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Champion test automation and CI/CD practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX, QA, and engineering teams in an Agile environment.
- Automate development pipelines and operational runbooks.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and resiliency using Redis, load balancing, service discovery, and fault-tolerance practices.
- Apply security best practices, including JWT, OAuth2/OIDC, TLS/SSL, and secure coding standards.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend practical adoption strategies.
- Communicate technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Software development experience building web applications and backend services.
- Strong experience with Angular and Java Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong team leadership and business stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with Kafka and Redis.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and schema design.
- Experience with Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger and API testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile teams.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience using AI models or integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, OIDC, and certificate management.
- Experience with Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Experience with reactive, event-driven, or message-oriented architectures.
- Experience with microservice design patterns.
Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
