Job Description :-
- Manage and plan all aspects of work for a project to ensure it delivers outcomes necessary to realize benefits as agreed by the project sponsor.
- Develop project plans and budget estimates for infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and establish project goals, objectives, and timelines and ensure deliverables are clearly defined, documented, and communicated to all stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations from plans, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Apply a structured project management approach and methodology, ensuring adherence to internal frameworks, processes and practices to effectively manage all aspects of the project.
- Ensure all projects follow standard operating procedures, standards and policies, and guidelines.
- Provide status reports to management and stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Identify and manage risks and issues, develop plans to mitigate risk and implement these in a timely manner, measuring effectiveness.
- Track and manage project expenditures to ensure projects are within budget and financial goals are met.
- Provide leadership and direction to project team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle (from initiation to post implementation review) and take responsibility for project deliverables in alignment with company’s Compliance and Infrastructure standards.
- Have an up-to-date, end-to-end project plan and identified key project deliverables.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date project cost management. This includes resources spending, hardware and software costs and any external consultancy if required.
- Engage in communication with partners and suppliers related to procurement activities and Hardware availability.
- Conduct project kick-off meetings and site visits as necessary
- Participate and lead project status meetings and communicate status of all projects to stakeholders and management.
- Create proper project documentation and oversight the delivery of third-party Infrastructure documentation (like network, rack layouts and electrical documentation)
Roles & Responsibilities
- You have been working successfully as Project manager for IT infrastructure projects for good number of years
- Previous experience working as an Infrastructure engineer and/or Architect is a major advantage.
- Lead several IT Infrastructure projects like Network Carrier relocations, Physical Presence changes/redesigns/moves (I.e. Office, Manufacturing, Datacenter, R&D)
- Very good understanding of IT infrastructure and telecommunication design, concepts and standards.
- Experience in leading and managing multi stream projects in an international environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Either PMP or Scrum Master certification will be considered is preferred.
- Understanding of IT Service Management and ITIL framework will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work onsite in Client World headquarters.
- Experience in cross functional thought leadership in infrastructure
Generic Managerial Skills
