Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Marketing and Advertising Specialist role based in Toronto, ON. The specialist will plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns to promote TaxTron’s software offerings across digital and traditional channels. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing customer and competitor data, developing marketing strategies, and creating promotional materials in collaboration with internal teams. The role includes coordinating advertising activities, supporting sales initiatives, and partnering with customer service to ensure consistent and effective messaging. The specialist will monitor campaign performance, prepare reports, and recommend improvements that enhance brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills for engaging customers, collaborating with internal teams, and supporting marketing outreach.
- Candidates should possess Market Research skills to analyze audiences, competitors, and trends, and Sales skills to support revenue-generating initiatives and promotional efforts.
- Candidates should possess Marketing Strategy skills to plan, execute, and refine integrated marketing and advertising campaigns aligned with business goals.
- Relevant experience in digital marketing tools (e.g., email marketing, social media, analytics platforms) and campaign reporting is beneficial.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in Toronto, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is expected.
- Familiarity with the Canadian tax landscape or software product marketing is considered an advantage.
