Original job description
Taylor Ryan is proud to partner exclusively with a growing Fraser Valley based real estate developer focused on delivering high-quality wood-frame residential communities throughout the Lower Mainland, with a strong presence in the Fraser Valley.
With multiple projects currently under construction, active development applications progressing through approvals, and new developments breaking ground, this is an exciting opportunity to join a developer at a pivotal stage of growth and play a key role in shaping its future pipeline.
Reporting directly to the President, the Development Manager will oversee projects from acquisition and feasibility through entitlement, design development, permitting, construction coordination, and project completion. This role offers significant exposure to all aspects of the development process as part of a small team and presents a clear pathway toward a future Director-level position as the company continues to expand.
The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years experience managing wood-frame residential projects through entitlement and into construction alongside:
- Strong understanding of municipal approval processes across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
- Excellent project management, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with consultants, municipalities, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience tendering, negotiating and managing consultant contracts.
For more information, or to apply, please contact Ash Holmes, ash@taylorryan.com.
We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for interview will be contacted.
