What We’re Looking For:
As the Director, AI Operations, you will be the operational force behind the scaling and integration of Artificial Intelligence across Omnicom’s Canadian portfolio Reporting directly to the Head of AI, Omnicom Advertising Canada, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge technical innovation and real-world agency execution.
What You’ll Do:
- Operational Scaling: Working the VP, Agency Operations, implement standardized frameworks for AI deployment across departments to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
- Workflow Integration: Audit existing agency workflows to identify AI-ready touchpoints, deploying use cases that reduce manual overhead and elevate human creativity.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the operational health of AI platforms, ensuring seamless access to the Omnicom AI ecosystem and approved third-party tools.
- Performance Tracking: Define and track key metrics (i.e. ROI, time-savings, output volume) to quantify the impact of AI initiatives on agency growth.
- Innovation Pipeline: Proactively scout for emerging AI tools and lead rapid Proof of Concept experiments to test agency applications before scaling.
- Onboarding & Approvals: Navigate end-to-end the internal vetting process for new AI tools.
- AI workflows: Shape the workflows and internal experience with Node-based tools (n8n, Figma Weave, Magnific).
What You Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in operations, project management, program management, account leadership, innovation, digital transformation, or a related field.
- Experience working in an advertising, marketing, creative, media, technology, or agency environment strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from strategy through implementation.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, timelines, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, platforms, tools, and emerging capabilities, with a genuine interest in how AI is transforming the creative and marketing landscape.
- Practical experience using or implementing generative AI tools and platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Adobe Firefly, or similar tools.
- Experience identifying opportunities to improve workflows, automate processes, increase efficiency, and enhance team capabilities through technology.
- Experience working with senior leadership and influencing stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technology concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Experience developing processes, frameworks, playbooks, guidelines, or operating models that help teams adopt new tools and ways of working.
- Comfortable working in an environment where technology, platforms, and best practices are constantly evolving.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 per year. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, and internal equity. This posting represents an active vacancy that we are currently hiring for.
