Are you an experienced Production Artist with a background in print production? Do you have a passion for creating accurate, high-quality artwork and preparing files for production? We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our ArtRoom team in Winnipeg.Pay: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

Create and prepare artwork using Adobe Illustrator on Mac systems.
Interpret customer specifications, blueprints, and job tickets.
Set up artwork on company proof templates and production layouts.
Apply trapping techniques and prepare files for print production.
Manage color separations and proofing requirements.
Work with Pantone, CMYK colors, fonts, line screens, and print-ready files.
Organize and maintain digital artwork in Mac and PC environments.
Collaborate with team members while managing assigned projects independently.
Follow all workplace health and safety standards.

Qualifications

College Diploma or Degree in Design, Graphic Arts, Production Art, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the print industry.Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Experience trapping Illustrator files and preparing artwork for print production.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer instructions.
Knowledge of color separations, Pantone and CMYK processes.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
