About the Role

Do you thrive on bringing memorable corporate events to life, end to end? TD SYNNEX is seeking an Event Planner to plan and execute conferences, roadshows, and internal meetings that elevate our brand and strengthen relationships with vendor and channel partners. In this role, you will own the event lifecycle - from strategy and budgeting to on-site execution and post-event reporting - partnering closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and the Events team. Your work will directly impact partner engagement, pipeline influence, and employee experience.

What You'll Do

Consult with stakeholders to define objectives, audiences, KPIs, and success criteria; translate requirements into proposals, scopes, timelines, and budgets.
Research, evaluate, and recommend venues and suppliers (hotels, DMCs, caterers, transportation, décor, A/V, and production).
Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, compliance, and cost savings.
Own event budgets: forecasting, PO management, tracking throughout the planning cycle, and final reconciliation with clear documentation.
Develop agendas and run-of-show; coordinate speakers, staging, signage, catering, and on-site operations.
Build and manage registration and attendee communications in platforms such as Cvent; oversee invitations, confirmations, lists, and on-site badging.
Partner with marketing operations to integrate email workflows and nurture campaigns in tools like Marketo; ensure brand consistency across assets.
Maintain accurate records in event management databases; manage timelines, risk logs, and status updates.
Create post-event reports covering attendance, satisfaction, lead capture, and ROI; capture insights for continuous improvement.
Lead on-site execution and troubleshoot in real time to deliver a seamless attendee experience.

What We're Looking For

2–4 years of corporate event planning or event marketing experience; B2B technology channel or agency experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end event logistics, stakeholder management, and vendor/venue sourcing.
Strong budget management and basic accounting skills, including projections and reconciliations.
Skilled in contract negotiation and supplier management.
Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail; able to manage multiple events against tight deadlines.
Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Cvent and virtual/hybrid event or registration platforms; familiarity with Marketo is beneficial.
Professional certifications such as CMP, CMM, or CTSM are a plus;
active involvement in industry organizations is welcomed.
Ability to work flexibly outside standard business hours during peak event periods and to stand for extended periods during on-site execution.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation; ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Base salary range: 48,000–63,000 CAD. The final offer within this range will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and market considerations, as well as internal equity and work location within Canada. TD SYNNEX offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development. Specific details will be shared during the recruitment process.

At TD SYNNEX, our values guide everything we do: Together, We Own It, We Dare to Go, We Grow and Win, and above all, We Do the Right Thing. These principles shape how we work with each other, our partners, and our communities as we drive innovation and create lasting impact.

What’s In It For You?

Elective Benefits: Our programs are tailored to your country to best accommodate your lifestyle.

Connect with Your Community: Participate in internal, peer-led inclusive communities and activities, including business resource groups, local volunteering events, and more environmental and social initiatives.

If you’re excited about working for our company and believe you’re a good fit for this role, we encourage you to apply. You may be exactly the person we’re looking for!
