About The Team
Our team enables and supports critical Procurement, Sourcing, Contract Lifecycle Management, Risk, and Supplier Management platforms that power enterprise business operations across TD. We work closely with business partners, vendors, technology teams, risk and compliance stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient technology solutions. As part of our team, you'll help drive digital transformation initiatives supporting strategic platforms such as SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement, RFX tools, Coupa Risk, and Contract Lifecycle Management solutions. Working alongside experienced technology professionals, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors, you'll contribute to initiatives that impact employees, suppliers, and business partners across the organization.
Job Details
As a valued member of our Enterprise Procurement Technology team, you will:
Transform Business Needs Into Technology Solutions
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Create process flows, user stories, business requirements, and functional specifications that support application enhancements and project delivery.
Deliver Strategic Technology Initiatives
- Support implementation projects including new application onboarding, platform enhancements, integrations, and technology upgrades.
- Collaborate with development teams, vendors, architects, and infrastructure partners throughout the project lifecycle.
Solve Complex Business Problems
- Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and support resolution activities.
- Recommend process improvements and technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
Ensure Quality and Operational Excellence
- Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing, defect management, and implementation readiness activities.
- Support release planning, change management, and production deployments.
Manage Risk and Compliance
- Support audit, security, risk, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure documentation, controls, and processes comply with established governance standards.
Build Strong Partnerships
- Act as a trusted liaison between business teams, technology partners, vendors, and support organizations.
- Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and key decisions to stakeholders.
Drive Business Value Through Technology
- Partner with business and technology teams to identify opportunities, define solutions, and deliver capabilities that improve procurement, risk, and supplier management processes.
- Lead Strategic Change
- Support the successful delivery of application implementations, enhancements, and integrations that enable business transformation and operational efficiency.
- Solve Problems that Matter
- Analyze complex business and system challenges, recommend practical solutions, and help ensure stable, reliable application performance.
- Champion Quality and User Experience
Ensure solutions meet business needs through effective requirements analysis, testing, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Strengthen Risk and Control Excellence
- Support audit, security, compliance, and governance requirements while helping maintain a strong control environment across supported applications.
- Build Trusted Partnerships
- Collaborate with business partners, technology teams, vendors, and support organizations to deliver successful outcomes and create a positive stakeholder experience.
This position follows TD's On Site work model. You'll primarily work from 320 Front St, Toronto attending in-office collaboration sessions, project workshops, planning activities, and team meetings as required. Your hiring manager will provide additional details regarding team-specific expectations and in-office requirements.
Experience
- University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, Application Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and system requirements.
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS applications and technology implementations.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting application testing, defect management, and production support activities.
Preferred
- Experience with Procurement, Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, or Risk platforms.
- Experience with SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement, RFx tools. Coupa Risk, CLM , or similar enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of API integrations, system interfaces, identity and access management, and cloud-based solutions.
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Knowledge of audit, compliance, SOX, risk, or operational controls in a regulated environment.
