Job Description:

TD Equipment Finance (TDEF) Customer Service Officer (CSO) provides support to the Operations and Sales teams at TDEF by managing various customer service requests, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to TDEF requirements.

The position is accountable to deliver superior customer experience, ensure compliance with policies & procedures, and help achieve profitable business growth.

Accountable to Credit and Operational Risk

Reporting to the Portfolio Management Manager, TD Equipment Finance (TDEF), this position is responsible for completing various documentation tasks post-disbursement and material modification remediation.

Coordinating, documenting and initiating the Canadian registration security lien process for a variety of commercial lease and loan documentation products for equipment financing per post-disbursement needs.
Managing transactions with vendors, customers, creditors and Sales Managers, securing necessary transaction documentation, preparing documents and ensuring a smooth booking process.
Assisting in identifying viable solutions to complete due diligence analysis for transaction reviews, while directly interfacing with internal and external TDEF Customers.
Calculating and executing payout quotes, balance confirmations, payment histories and customer inquiries for payment updates and account statuses
Ensuring the perfection of a security interest for collateral and complying with company and provincial policies
Acting as a liaison between Sales Managers, Commercial Teams and Customer Service.
Review and remediate data migration, solve for interest rate, balance variances, fix and train to provide solutions for data accuracy

Minimum Qualifications:

2+ years’ business experience
Excellent project management skills
Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and search tools to find information
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
Ability to work independently, proactively, innovatively while exercising sound judgment and support the team for high-volume requests
Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment, but with a team-spirited attitude

Preferred Skills:

Fully bilingual (written / spoken) French and English
