Job Description:
The Senior Business Program Analyst will support the execution of customer remediation programs by managing data operations, reporting, reconciliation activities, and production processes that are critical to cohort delivery. Working closely with the Data Manager and business stakeholders, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing customer outreach files, maintaining reporting and tracking tools, supporting data quality activities, and ensuring operational readiness throughout the remediation lifecycle.
This role is highly operational and execution-focused, helping to ensure remediation cohorts are delivered efficiently while enabling the Data Manager to focus on reporting modernization, automation initiatives, strategic data management, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of remediation cohorts through data preparation, file creation, validation, and operational readiness activities.
- Prepare and maintain customer communication files, including letter, email, dialer, and manual call populations.
- Execute disposition reviews and customer population management activities.
- Support recurring cohort refresh activities, ensuring data accuracy and completeness throughout the remediation lifecycle.
- Maintain reconciliation reports and tracking tools used to monitor remediation progress and outcomes.
- Perform data quality reviews and validation activities to support accurate customer identification and outreach.
- Support maintenance of baseline population files, including updates from multiple internal data sources.
- Prepare recurring operational and management reporting, dashboards, and status updates.
- Assist with consequence management reporting and related monitoring activities.
- Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Data & Analytics, and Business teams to resolve data issues and improve reporting accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and support automation initiatives led by the Data Manager.
- Support production controls, audit requirements, and documentation to ensure processes remain compliant and defensible.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reporting effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Experience in business operations, data management, remediation, reporting, analytics support, or related functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large data sets and identify data quality issues.
- Experience creating operational reports, reconciliations, and tracking tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, validation, and reporting.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet established deadlines.
- Ability to identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Positive, solutions-oriented mindset and continuous improvement focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting customer remediation, regulatory, risk, compliance, AML, KYC, or operational programs.
- Experience with data reporting tools, dashboards, and process automation initiatives.
- Knowledge of reconciliation processes, operational controls, and audit requirements.
- Experience working with large customer populations and managing complex datasets.
- Experience with Python, SQL, or similar tools to analyze and manage large datasets (strong asset/nice to have).
- Use strong problem-solving skills to identify and investigate data issues, determine the root cause, and recommend practical solutions to improve data quality and reporting.
- Work with business partners to understand their needs and operational challenges, and turn those needs into data, reports, and analysis that help improve business results.
- Use business knowledge and analytical skills to identify opportunities to improve processes, automate tasks, and enhance reporting. Help increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and strengthen operational controls.
