Job Description:

Department Overview

As part of TD’s Marketing department, the North American Growth Marketing team is responsible for leading digital marketing and 1:1 marketing capabilities across the enterprise. The team is mandated to build and modernize TD’s digital marketing ecosystem and enable personalized, relevant, and timely 1:1 communications across customer interactions and channels.

Growth Marketing supports TD Bank Group’s central marketing function with high-quality, innovative, and insight-driven solutions that help build value for customers and shareholders. As a North American centre of excellence, the team supports consumer-facing lines of business across TD, including portfolios such as Real Estate Secured Lending, while partnering closely with Marketing, Business Units, Integrated Marketing Planning, 1:1 Personalization, and Salesforce Centres of Excellence.

Job Description

TD is modernizing its marketing ecosystem to deliver personalized, relevant, and timely communications to customers through their channel of choice. As part of the Marketing Delivery team and Salesforce ecosystem, this role is responsible for the well-managed design, execution, measurement, and optimization of targeted direct-to-consumer and journey orchestration campaigns.

The successful candidate will lead end-to-end campaign delivery across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related Salesforce capabilities, including Loyalty Management, Data Cloud / Data 360, Marketing Cloud Engagement, and Salesforce Personalization. This includes campaign build, audience creation and segmentation, journey design, technical configuration, quality control, performance measurement, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design, execution, measurement, and optimization of targeted marketing campaigns and customer journeys across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related Salesforce platforms.
Partner with Marketing, Business Units, Integrated Marketing Planning, and Personalization teams to translate business objectives into data-driven campaigns and customer experiences.
Design and configure cross-channel campaigns, journeys, audience segmentation, entry/exit criteria, automated triggers, personalization, and testing strategies.
Build and deploy campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Data Cloud, and Loyalty Management.
Manage audience data, segmentation, and campaign targeting using data extensions, filters, APIs, SQL, and related Salesforce capabilities.
Develop and maintain responsive campaign templates, dynamic content, and personalized customer experiences using AMPscript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
Perform quality assurance testing, troubleshoot campaign issues, and ensure campaign accuracy, accessibility, compliance, and successful deployment.
Analyze campaign performance, provide actionable insights, and identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.
Leverage analytical tools including Python, PySpark, SQL, and Databricks to enhance campaign design, delivery, and measurement.
Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results on time.

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience in direct marketing, campaign management, marketing analytics, consulting, agency, financial services, telecom, or another high-volume marketing environment.
2+ years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience, including campaign delivery, journey orchestration, audience segmentation, and marketing automation.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Data Extensions, Audience Builder, and Data Cloud.
Proficiency with SQL and experience using AMPscript, HTML, and CSS to support personalization, automation, and campaign development.
Experience with Python and/or PySpark, cloud-based data environments, and customer data analysis.
Strong understanding of direct marketing principles, including segmentation, testing methodologies, campaign measurement, and optimization.
Knowledge of CASL and email marketing regulations.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Administrator, Developer, and/or Email Specialist).
Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
Experience working in matrixed organizations and Agile environments.
Experience with Unica Campaign, Databricks, Salesforce Personalization, or Loyalty Management.
Advanced knowledge of AMPscript, CSS, and dynamic content development.
