About This Role
We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the delivery and evolution of Credit Risk Systems used by TD Securities. You will translate complex business, risk, data, and technology needs into clear solution requirements and work closely with business and technology partners throughout the delivery lifecycle, from discovery and impact assessment through testing, implementation, and production adoption.

Business Analysis and Delivery
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and manage detailed business, data, system, control, and non-functional requirements in alignment with standards and frameworks
- Assess current-state processes and system capabilities, identify impacts and dependencies, and recommend practical target-state solution options with business and technology partners
- Translate business outcomes into functional specifications, process models, use cases, acceptance criteria, data mappings, and implementation requirements
- Contribute to planning, estimation, prioritization, solution design, testing, implementation, and post-release validation
- Prepare analysis, reporting, options, and presentation materials to support timely stakeholder and management decisions
- Identify opportunities to reduce complexity, manual effort, and operational risk while improving delivery effectiveness
Credit Risk Change and Strategic Initiatives
- Support Credit Risk initiatives involving counterparty exposure, stress testing, model implementation, risk reporting, product onboarding, and market data or curve changes
- Support onboarding of new businesses, products, counterparties, and data sources into Credit Risk platforms, including impact assessment and operational readiness
- Support strategic migrations, application rationalization, legacy platform retirement, and adoption of target-state processes and technology
Data Analysis, Governance, and Controls
- Perform data profiling, reconciliation, lineage tracing, source-to-report analysis, and root-cause investigation across large and complex datasets
- Define data quality rules, controls, evidence, and remediation requirements in partnership with business, risk, and technology stakeholders
- Support the data governance and quality roadmap by assessing scope, dependencies, implementation effort, and delivery risks
Testing and Production Readiness
- Develop and execute test plans across development, system, integration, and user acceptance testing stages, including traceability, defect analysis, and implementation validation
- Coordinate production readiness, operational procedures, release validation, and issue investigation for business-critical Credit Risk processes
- Partner with Engineering and Production Support teams to investigate complex issues and ensure sustainable solutions
Stakeholder and Team Leadership
- Build alignment across Front Office, Risk Management, Product Control, Operations, Model Development, Architecture, Engineering, and Support teams
- Communicate complex business, risk, data, and technology concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Provide guidance to analysts, promote consistent BSA practices, and contribute to portfolio planning and continuous improvement
- Prioritize and manage workload independently to deliver high-quality results within committed timelines.
Job Requirements:

- 8+ years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, product analysis, risk analysis, or technology delivery within Capital Markets, Risk Management, or Financial Services
- Strong knowledge of counterparty credit risk concepts and measures, including potential future exposure and valuation adjustment measures
- Strong understanding of linear and non-linear interest rate and credit derivatives, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, and Cash products
- Demonstrated experience producing high-quality business, data, functional, and non-functional requirements, process models, use cases, acceptance criteria, and implementation artefacts
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including hands-on SQL, data profiling, reconciliation, root-cause analysis, and investigation of complex data flows
- Experience supporting testing across development, system, integration, and user acceptance stages, including test planning, defect analysis, traceability, and implementation validation
- Knowledge of the software delivery lifecycle, release management, production readiness, operational controls, and change governance
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to technical, business, and executive audiences
- Experience with enterprise Credit Risk, counterparty exposure, stress testing, XVA, or regulatory risk reporting platforms is preferred
- Experience with applications such as Calypso, Bloomberg, trade booking platforms, market data, and downstream risk or reporting systems is an asset
- Experience with APIs, file-based integrations, Linux or Unix environments, and modern data platforms is an asset
- Experience supporting business onboarding, model or parameter releases, data governance, platform migration, application decommissioning, or cloud adoption is an asset
- Experience working in Agile or product-led delivery models using tools such as JIRA and Confluence is an asset
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
