Summary Of Duties
Summary of Duties:
Shipper
Arrange for courier & customer pick up including completing online waybill forms
Ensure outgoing shipments are picked up on time
Obtain competitive freight quotes for outgoing shipments
Review shipping supply inventory to maintain minimum levels of shipping supplies & ensure shipping is clean & organized
Perform duties efficiently according to applicable procedures (i.e. AS9100)
Machine Operator
Efficiently set up and run mechanical hydraulic equipment (clicker press)
Perform first off and in-process part inspection
Check all documentation, materials and dies prior to cutting
Package & label finished goods according to customer requirements.
Custom Manufacturing of gaskets (die cutting, Glueing, Assembly, Vulcanizing, sewing etc.)
Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, part handling, occupational health and safety
Communicate effectively with co-workers both verbally and in written form
Ensure clean & clear workspace
Provide feedback to supervisor regarding material problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems
Perform duties efficiently according to applicable procedures (i.e. AS9100)
Assist in other orders as needed and performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma AND/OR 3-5 years Industry Experience
Computer Skills (Microsoft Outlook, Shipping sites etc.) are important
Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine equipment maintenance
Must be able to check basic dimensions
Strong work ethic and High level of personal integrity
Excellent verbal communication
Ability to demonstrate strong oral and written communication
Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques
Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & with a team
Confident, consistent decisive personality
Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed
Tow Motor License would be an asset

Responsibilities
Coordinate outgoing shipments, pickups, freight quotes, and shipping supplies while maintaining an organized shipping area. Set up and operate hydraulic clicker press equipment, inspect and manufacture gasket parts, and package finished goods according to customer requirements and applicable procedures.
Requirements
A high school diploma and/or 3–5 years of industry experience is requested, along with computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and check basic dimensions. The role also requires strong communication, organization, integrity, self-direction, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team; a tow motor license is an asset.
