What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and modify PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications.
- Test, commission, and start up industrial control systems, including onsite troubleshooting and support.
- Provide both remote and onsite support for automation, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve process performance, operational efficiency, and system reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation, commissioning records, testing procedures, and project reports.
- Collaborate with customers and project teams to deliver safe, effective, and reliable solutions on schedule.
- Train and support end users on control systems and automation technologies.
- Depending on experience, lead technical work scopes, support project execution, and mentor junior team members.
What Makes You Successful
- A diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Automation Engineering Technology; a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Knowledge of industrial control systems and process automation.
- A strong understanding of PLC programming fundamentals, with the ability to learn and work across different programming platforms. Experience or training in HMI and SCADA development is also an asset.
- Knowledge of industrial networking and communications protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, DNP3, OPC, or Profibus.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with a hands-on, practical approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
- A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and adaptability in a dynamic project environment.
- Willingness to work in both office and travel to customer sites as required.
You will work on challenging and rewarding projects that help power critical industrial operations. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values technical excellence, continuous learning, and professional growth while giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact for our customers.
