ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: Project Coordinator

Team Power Solutions (TPS) delivers electrical engineering, automation and controls, manufacturing, and field services to industrial clients. We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to support our Electrical Engineering team across multiple client projects.

You’ll work closely with Project Managers, engineers, designers, clients and vendors to keep schedules, costs, documentation and deliverables organized from kickoff through closeout. This role suits someone who enjoys working with technical teams, takes ownership of details, and follows through when priorities change.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Coordinate project meetings, schedules, action items, purchasing and documentation with Project managers and engineering teams.
Track engineering deliverables, including drawings, studies, review comments, submissions and revisions.
Follow up with engineers, designers, clients and vendors on information requests, reviews and upcoming deadlines.
Maintain accurate project records, including budgets, purchase orders, vendor invoices, expenses and project updates.
Help Project Managers prepare cost forecasts, monitor expenditures, and identify potential budget or schedule concerns.
Prepare client invoices and supporting documentation and work with Finance on project closeout.
Track project changes and help ensure approved changes are reflected in project records, budgets and schedules.
Help assemble final deliverable packages and closeout records.
Identify missing information, raise project risks or issues promptly and suggest improvements to coordination processes.

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL

Strong project coordination, administration, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage deadlines across several projects.
Comfort working with project costs, invoices, purchase orders and spreadsheets.
Clear communication and the confidence to follow up with clients and internal team members.
Sound judgment about when to resolve an issue and when to bring it to the Project Manager.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with SharePoint, MS Projects or Project management systems is an asset.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Relevant post-secondary education or project management training is an asset, but we’ll also consider equivalent hands-on experience.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in project coordination, project administration, or a related role.
Experience supporting engineering, construction or other technical projects is preferred.
