About the Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to provide onsite technical support for a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.

This position is ideal for an IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting hardware, supporting end users, maintaining network connectivity, and taking ownership of day-to-day technical issues.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary onsite IT resource, working closely with a broader IT team to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows workstations and business applications.
Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, user accounts, password resets, and access permissions.

Support warehouse technology, including barcode scanners, handheld devices, and label printers.
Set up equipment for new employees and manage device replacements, deployments, and hardware refreshes.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues with minimal supervision.
Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
Maintain accurate IT asset records, support tickets, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with remote IT teams and external vendors to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in IT support, desktop support, help desk, or field services.
Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and Windows operating systems.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switches, Ethernet cabling, and wireless connectivity.
Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
Ability to work onsite five days per week in Caledon, Ontario

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience supporting warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, or logistics operations.
Experience with barcode scanners, Zebra printers, handheld devices, or warehouse management systems.
Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are an asset but not required.
Experience serving as the primary IT support resource at a facility.

What We're Looking For

Approximately 80% of the role involves hands-on IT support, including hardware, software, printers, scanners, and end-user troubleshooting. The remaining 20% focuses on networking, including switches, cabling, and connectivity issues.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, technically capable, and comfortable working independently in a busy onsite environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, fully onsite

Compensation: CAD $60,000–$65,000 annually
