Tech Talent International (TTI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to startups, small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US. We are currently hiring a Angular Developer for our global consulting client in the Montreal area.
Role: Angular Developer
Rate Range: $71 -73/hr C2C (40 hrs /week)
Duration: 6 -12 months
Location: Hybrid, 3 days in office, Montreal, QC, Canada
Note: Face to face interview in Montreal required
Role Overview
Job Description: Experienced Angular Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications using modern Angular frameworks and front-end technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular (v12+).
- Build reusable UI components and ensure optimal application performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver business requirements.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and microservices with front-end applications.
- Develop responsive, cross-browser compatible, and user-friendly web interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and production issue resolution.
- Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and security.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and release activities.
- Support CI/CD deployment processes and application monitoring.
Core Qualifications
- 8-10 years of overall IT experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Angular development experience.
- Strong expertise in:
- Angular (v12+)
- TypeScript
- JavaScript
- HTML5
- CSS3
- SCSS
- RxJS
- Experience with Angular Material and responsive UI development.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API integration.
- Experience with State Management frameworks such as:
- NgRx
- Redux
- Knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with:
- Git
- Jenkins
- Azure DevOps
- CI/CD Pipelines
- Experience with unit testing frameworks including:
- Jasmine
- Karma
- Jest
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Node.js and backend integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as:
- AWS
- Azure
- GCP
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Financial Services or Banking industry experience.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale Agile environments.
