Tech Talent International (TTI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to startups, small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US. We are currently hiring a Senior ETL Engineer for our consulting client.

Role: Senior ETL Engineer

Number of Roles: 1

Rate Range: $70-72/hr C2C

Duration: 6-12 months + extensions

Location: Hybrid (2/3 days onsite) - Toronto

Job Description: Senior ETL Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions leveraging Snowflake, Data Cloud, and modern data engineering technologies.

Location: Toronto, Hybrid (2-3 Days WFO)

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Build and optimize data integration solutions using Snowflake and Data Cloud platforms.
Support data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reporting processes.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and security across enterprise data platforms.
Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Support data migration, modernization, and cloud-based data initiatives.
Develop reusable frameworks and best practices for data engineering and ETL development.
Participate in testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Core Qualifications

4-6 years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL development.
Strong experience with Snowflake data platform.
Hands-on experience with Data Cloud implementations and integrations.
Solid understanding of data engineering principles, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines in enterprise environments.
Strong SQL and data transformation skills.
Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Node.js development.
Experience working within cloud-based data ecosystems.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise data platforms.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
