Delivery Lead

Location: Montreal, QC, Canada

Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days on-site, 2 days remote

Compensation: From $100K+ annually, depending on experience and interview results

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to oversee software delivery across multiple teams and lead a team of 3 Delivery Managers.

The role is suitable for an experienced Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Head of Delivery Managers with a strong software development background who is ready to take broader ownership of delivery performance, processes, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage 3 Delivery Managers.
• Oversee delivery across multiple software development teams and projects.
• Manage planning, timelines, scope, risks, dependencies, resources, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Product, QA, and Business stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery plans align with product roadmaps and business priorities.
• Monitor delivery performance, KPIs, risks, and forecasts.
• Improve and standardize software delivery processes.
• Support resource and capacity planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage escalations and cross-team dependencies.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and development of the delivery team.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Project Management, Delivery Management, or Program Management within software development.
• Proven experience managing multiple teams or delivery streams.
• Previous people-management or leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum.
• Experience with project planning, estimation, risk management, capacity planning, and stakeholder management.
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience improving software delivery processes.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Ukrainian.
• Ability to work on-site in Montreal 3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or scaling delivery teams.
• Experience with software, cloud platforms, IoT, connected devices, or hardware-enabled products.
• B2B or enterprise software experience.
• Experience with international or distributed teams.
• Technical or QA background.
• Agile, Scrum, or Project Management certifications.
• MBA or relevant management education.
