We're Hiring: Business Operations Manager | IT Consulting & Staffing
Are you a seasoned staffing professional ready to take ownership of day-to-day operations at a growing IT consulting and staffing agency? We're looking for a driven Business Operations Manager to lead and scale our operations across public and private sector markets.

We are a mid-sized IT consulting and staffing agency with established cash flow and a strong footprint across provincial government, municipal government, Crown corporations, and private sector clients. As we grow, we're delegating operational leadership to the right person - someone who knows this industry inside and out.
What You'll Own
- End-to-end business operations and day-to-day agency management
- Vendor management portal administration and compliance
- Vendor of Records (VOR) maintenance and documentation
- Proposal writing and RFP/RFQ responses for public and private sector opportunities
- Resume screening and candidate qualification for IT roles
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS) oversight and optimization
- Payroll processing and coordination
- Employment law compliance across all hiring activities
What You Bring
- 5+ years in staffing/recruitment operations, preferably in IT consulting
- Proven experience in public sector staffing - provincial government, municipal, or Crown corporations
- Hands-on experience with vendor management portals (e.g., SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, Agile1)
- Strong proposal and RFP writing skills
- Proficiency with ATS platforms and resume screening
- Solid understanding of payroll processes
- Working knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations
- Private sector staffing experience is a strong asset
- Self-starter who can manage autonomously with minimal oversight

Responsibilities
Lead the agency’s day-to-day operations, including vendor portal administration and compliance, Vendor of Records documentation, ATS oversight, payroll coordination, and employment law compliance. Write proposals and respond to RFPs/RFQs, while screening and qualifying candidates for IT roles across public and private sector markets.
Requirements
Requires at least five years of staffing or recruitment operations experience, preferably in IT consulting, and proven public sector staffing experience. Candidates should have hands-on experience with vendor management portals and ATS platforms, strong proposal-writing and resume-screening skills, payroll knowledge, and a working understanding of Canadian employment laws; private sector staffing experience is an asset.
