Full Stack Software Developer (Java/React) - Technical Lead

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and driven Full Stack Software Developer (Java/React) to fill a Technical Lead role supporting one of our public service clients. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions that serve the public and modernize government services. You will work at the intersection of technical leadership, solution architecture, and hands-on development - guiding a cross-functional Agile team to deliver meaningful outcomes.

What You Will Do

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to developers and technical team members
• Lead by example as a hands-on contributor while enabling team success and delivery excellence
• Perform code reviews and establish development standards, security controls, and best practices
• Coach and mentor developers, supporting their technical and professional growth
• Act as a subject matter expert and ensure effective transfer of solution-critical knowledge

Solution Architecture & Design

• Architect, design, and implement Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Case Management solutions using both out-of-the-box capabilities and custom development
• Design scalable and secure enterprise solutions leveraging Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, and Dataverse
• Develop architecture artifacts including contextual, conceptual, logical, and physical solution designs
• Define technical roadmaps, integration patterns, and solution deployment strategies
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices

Development & Delivery

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, Solution Architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Develop detailed technical designs, sprint plans, and work breakdown structures within Agile/Scrum frameworks
• Build and configure Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, custom connectors, plugins, and integrations
• Design and implement APIs and integrations with internal and external enterprise systems
• Lead functional workstreams and coordinate activities across developers, testers, and business SMEs
• Support application deployments, releases, troubleshooting, and ongoing production support

Integration & Cloud Services

• Design and implement integrations using Azure services and enterprise integration patterns
• Develop cloud-native solutions utilizing Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, App Services, Storage Services, and Key Vault
• Ensure solution scalability, maintainability, performance, and security

DevOps & Quality Assurance

• Lead CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps and GitHub
• Establish automated deployment and testing practices
• Manage development environments and support large-scale solution deployments
• Ensure adherence to software engineering principles, coding standards, and QA processes

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Leverage AI technologies including Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, Agents, and LLMs to improve productivity and solution delivery
• Stay current with Microsoft technology roadmaps and emerging industry trends
• Promote continuous learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing across the team

What You Bring

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of software development experience including enterprise application delivery
• Minimum 3 years in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or Solution Lead role
• Minimum 2 years implementing CRM, case management, or business process solutions using Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
• Experience leading cross-functional Agile delivery teams
• Experience delivering solutions in complex enterprise or public sector environments
• Experience with permitting, licensing, registration, inspection, compliance, or case management solutions is a strong asset
