You'll be responsible for end-to-end quality assurance activities - from test planning and automation through to defect resolution and production support - while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, accessible, and high-quality solutions.

What You'll Do

Develop QA strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and regression test cycles
Execute functional, integration, system, regression, end-to-end, and accessibility testing
Identify, document, track, and resolve application defects and issues
Perform root cause analysis and implement code fixes for defects and production issues
Support troubleshooting, break/fix activities, and maintenance of application integrations
Develop and maintain reusable testing frameworks and automation solutions
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and quality standards
Support deployment activities and release validation testing
Produce testing, technical, operational, and knowledge transfer documentation
Develop quality metrics, status reporting, and process improvement recommendations
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, accessibility, and operational standards
Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, developers, architects, and project teams

What We're Looking For

Must Have:

Demonstrated knowledge of Application Testing and Development concepts, tasks, and techniques (certification an asset)
Experience developing and executing test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data
Experience with application development, coding, troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing defect fixes (break/fix support)
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, .NET technologies (ASP.NET, ADO.NET, .NET Framework), C#, Entity Framework, ReactJS, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript, and SQL
Ability to learn and understand specialized corrections applications and their integrations

Nice to Have:

Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts and regression test cycles
Familiarity with defect tracking, root cause analysis, and defect management processes
Experience with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies
Prior experience working in the Ontario Public Sector (OPS) within the last 2 years
Experience working with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams in high-impact environments

Work Location

This is a fully on-site role. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 7.25 hours per day between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (excluding breaks), at a government office location in Toronto.

Why Join Us
