Title: Sr. Avionics Systems Engineer
Location: Montreal, QC / Toronto, ON (Day-1 onsite)
This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and we are looking to hire Sr. Avionics Systems Engineer at Montreal, QC / Toronto, ON (Onsite), immediately who has strong experience in Develop and author avionics system requirements.
Role Overview:
- Transport Canada AWM 505 "Delegation of Authority" 505.409
- Working relationship with TCCA, EASA or FAA.
- Civil airworthiness FAR Part 25 avionics regulations
- Experience with system design, test and certification requirements of aircraft auto flight, communication, navigation including FMS, indicating/recording systems, onboard maintenance systems
- Familiar with the industry standards DO-178, DO-160, DO-254, ARP4754 and ARP4761
- Willing to travel.

Responsibilities
Develop and author avionics system requirements for aircraft systems. Support system design, testing, and certification for autopilot, communications, navigation, flight management, indicating and recording, and onboard maintenance systems.
Requirements
Candidates should have experience with Transport Canada AWM 505 delegation of authority and working with TCCA, EASA, or FAA, as well as knowledge of civil airworthiness FAR Part 25 avionics regulations. Familiarity with DO-178, DO-160, DO-254, ARP4754, and ARP4761 is required, and willingness to travel is expected.
