Business System Analyst

Role Overview

They will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and delivering AI-enabled business solutions that improve productivity, automate processes, enhance decision-making, and generate measurable business value. This role will partner with business stakeholders, delivery teams, architects, and vendors to translate business challenges into AI use cases and support the end-to-end delivery lifecycle from intake through production deployment.

The ideal candidate possesses experience delivering AI, Generative AI, automation, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives and understands how to bridge business needs with technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

AI Use Case Discovery & Analysis

• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI opportunities.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements for AI and automation initiatives.
• Analyze current-state processes and identify areas where AI can improve efficiency, reduce risk, or enhance user experience.
• Translate business challenges into clearly defined AI use cases, user stories, and functional requirements.
• Support business case development, value realization assessments, and ROI analysis.

AI Delivery & Solution Design

• Work closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Data Teams, and Developers to design AI-enabled solutions.
• Create and maintain:
• Business requirements
• Functional requirements
• User stories
• Process flows
• Use cases
• Acceptance criteria
• Solution documentation
• Support the evaluation of AI technologies including:
• Generative AI
• Agentic AI
• Oracle AI Agents
• Microsoft Copilot solutions
• Workflow automation platforms
• Participate in solution reviews and design sessions to ensure business requirements are met.

AI Intake & Governance

• Work within the existing Project Intake process to ensure that the appropriate level of information is gathered for the assessment of any AI initiatives
• Support AI governance reviews including:
• Risk assessments
• Privacy reviews
• Security reviews
• Responsible AI evaluations
• Ensure required governance and compliance documentation is completed and maintained.
• Partner with security, legal, privacy, and architecture teams to address risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Agile Delivery Support

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Manage and prioritize requirements throughout delivery.
• Support estimation activities and release planning.
• Track requirements traceability from intake through deployment.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Program Managers to support successful delivery.

Business Readiness & Change Management

• Support user adoption activities and business readiness planning.
• Assist in the development of training materials, process documentation, and communications.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and change management activities.
• Collect feedback and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Quality Engineering & Testing

• Collaborate with the Quality Engineering team to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and AI solution validation.
• Validate outputs from AI solutions against business requirements and expected outcomes.
• Assist with production readiness activities and post-deployment monitoring.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 5+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience.
• 2+ years of experience supporting AI, automation, digital transformation, analytics, or advanced technology initiatives.
• Experience eliciting and documenting complex business and system requirements.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, Procurement)

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or Azure AI services
• Experience developing business cases and value realization frameworks
• Exposure to AI governance, Responsible AI, or security review processes
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale transformation programs
