Position Summary :
As the Senior Developer Lead for the Corporate Technology Finance portfolio, you will act as the principal technical authority, thought leader, and architect for our Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) platform. In this role, you will design and oversee robust, scalable technical solutions across our integrated finance ecosystem - encompassing Oracle EPM and ERP Cloud modules. Your mission is two-fold: serve as an expert-level technical resource who can hands-on deliver in-house enhancements to drive cost efficiencies, and act as an empowering educator who elevates the capabilities of our internal team. You will drive strategic roadmap decisions, establish governance for how we manage data out of the application, and steer third-party development partners during major project initiatives to ensure longterm architectural integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Thought Leadership & Team Upskilling: Act as the primary subject matter expert for OFSAA; actively mentor, train, and build the technical capacity of internal team members.
- Scalable Architecture & Design: Oversee the end-to-end design, data flows, and configuration of the Finance portfolio to ensure clean, scalable integration and longterm platform health.
- Vendor & Contractor Governance: Lead, review, and govern the technical deliverables of third-party contractors on large-scale initiatives, ensuring adherence to high-quality code standards and architectural principles.
- Agile, Cost-Effective Development: Perform hands-on development and configuration for small-to-medium enhancements, implementing solutions inhouse to reduce dependency on external consultants and optimize budgets.
- Ecosystem Integration: Champion data integrity and seamless interfaces between OFSAA, Oracle EPM, and Oracle ERP Cloud suites to support comprehensive financial reporting and compliance.
- Operational Excellence: Lead complex L3 troubleshooting, performance tuning, and database optimization for nightly processing windows.
Required Qualifications & Technical Expertise :
- Core Educational & Experience Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on software development experience in corporate technology, with a dedicated focus of 5+ years specializing in Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) environments.
2. Deep-Dive OFSAA Technical Skill Set
- Expert-level mastery of OFSAA Architecture (v8.x), including metadata configurations, Unified Metadata Manager (UMM), and Business Metadata (Variables, Filters, Measures). • Proven hands-on experience implementing and managing Oracle Insurance Data Foundation (OIDF) and Data Integration Hub (DIH).
- Strong technical execution of Data Quality (DQ) Check Frameworks and complex data reconciliation processes.
- Practical delivery or configuration experience with IFRS 17 analytical applications within a financial or insurance context.
- Expert SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, and batch execution monitoring (using native OFSAA Batch Console or external schedulers like Control-M/Autosys).
3. Oracle EPM & ERP Ecosystem Familiarity
- Solid understanding and integration experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud, specifically:
- PCMCS / EPCMCS (Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Service)
- EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service)
- EDMCS (Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service)
- OTL (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence / Oracle Time and Labor) • Technical familiarity with Oracle ERP Cloud Financials, specifically data structures and flows relating to:
- GL (General Ledger) & FAH (Financial Accounting Hub) o AP (Accounts Payable)
- Cash Management o Expenses
4. Leadership & Methodology Qualifications
- Vendor Management: Demonstrated experience leading, coordinating, and conducting code/design reviews for third-party systems integrators or offshore contracting teams.
- Delivery Frameworks: Comfortable operating in hybrid delivery models, showing fluency in both structured Waterfall governance and Agile/Scrum sprint cycles.
- Team Development: Proven track record of officially or unofficially leading technical training sessions, creating structured runbooks, and mentoring junior-tomid-level developers.
