Role: Program Manager
Location: Downtown Toronto, Canada
Hybrid: (3 days office, 2 days remote)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale cloud migration program, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage program governance, including budget, scope, timelines, and executive reporting.
- Drive migration planning, execution, cutover, and hypercare activities to ensure seamless transitions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Architecture, Data Engineering, Business, QA, and Operations, to achieve program goals.
- Manage RAID logs, dependencies, and stakeholder communications effectively.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to ensure successful delivery and adoption of cloud solutions.
- Oversee offshore, and onsite delivery teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Mandatory Skills:
- 15+ years of IT experience with at least 7 years in Program Management.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Cloud Migration or Data Modernization programs.
- Strong experience in Agile delivery methodologies, stakeholder management, and financial governance.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Databricks, Data Platforms, ETL/Data Migration, and Analytics environments.
- Experience managing distributed onshore and offshore teams.
- Banking or Financial Services experience is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- SAFe Program Consultant / SAFe Agilist certification.
- Microsoft Azure Certifications.
- Databricks Data Engineer Professional certification.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess a strong blend of technical and managerial skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex programs on time and within budget. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
