Senior Full Stack Developer – React / Node.js / Java

About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in modern front-end development using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js, along with working knowledge of Java/Spring and Oracle databases.
The ideal candidate will have experience building responsive, accessible, and high-performing web applications within large enterprise environments and be comfortable working in Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services using Node.js and Java/Spring.
- Work with Next.js and modern Jamstack architecture.
- Develop responsive web applications and optimize page performance and load times.
- Perform front-end testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Implement accessible solutions compliant with AODA / WCAG 2.0 AA standards.
- Work with Oracle databases, including SQL, tables, views, sequences, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Utilize Spring Framework, Spring Boot, MVC, Security, Hibernate/JPA, and Maven.
- Work with version-control and development tools such as Bitbucket and Git.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, business stakeholders, QA, and other teams in a large enterprise environment.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, code reviews, testing, and delivery activities.
- Contribute to technical design, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ year of hands-on React development.
- Strong experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience with Node.js/NPM and Next.js.
- Experience building and testing RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of Jamstack architecture.
- 1+ year of Java development experience.
- Experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot, MVC, Security, and JPA/Hibernate.
- Experience with Oracle databases and SQL, including database objects such as tables, views, sequences, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, and responsive web development.
- Hands-on experience with front-end testing, debugging, and page-load optimization.
- Experience with Maven and Bitbucket/Git.
- Experience working with AODA/WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility standards.
- Experience working within large organizations or enterprise development teams.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with IBM RAD, IBM RSA, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, or Visual Studio Code.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale applications.
- Experience with accessibility testing and remediation.
- Experience working across both front-end and back-end development stacks.
