Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist with 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level software testing and large-scale IT environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, API testing, performance testing, and end-to-end quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
Perform both manual and automated testing across complex enterprise applications.
Conduct functional, integration, regression, system, API, and end-to-end testing.
Perform API testing using Postman and automation using Selenium or similar frameworks.
Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools.
Identify, document, track, and manage defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Ensure comprehensive testing coverage for functional and non-functional requirements.
Perform AODA/accessibility testing and compliance.
Work within Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, functional teams, and technical teams.
Support QA compliance and security testing practices.
Work with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or GitLab.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of software testing experience in enterprise-level IT environments and large-scale systems.
Strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing.
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Extensive experience with AODA/accessibility testing and compliance.
Experience creating and maintaining test strategies, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
Experience with Selenium and/or Postman.
Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar performance testing tools.
Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar defect tracking tools.
Strong experience with SQL and Oracle.
Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS cloud technologies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, or GitLab.
Knowledge of QA compliance standards and security testing best practices.
Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

Previous Ontario Public Service (OPS) or public-sector experience.
Familiarity with OPS QA standards and practices.
