Original job description

About the Role

Help clients build smarter, AI-enabled businesses through technology, strategy, automation, and execution.

Techify has spent the last 3 years heavily focused on AI adoption, operational automation, and helping organizations modernize the way they work. We are quickly becoming one of Canada’s leading AI-forward MSPs by combining strong technical consulting with practical AI strategy that actually improves business operations.

We are looking for someone who is excited by where technology is going, understands how AI is reshaping the consulting landscape, and wants to help lead that transformation for both our clients and our internal teams.

Techify is growing fast, and we’re looking for someone who can sit confidently at the intersection of business, technology, strategy, and relationships.

This is not a “maintain the status quo” role.

This is for someone who loves solving problems, building structure from chaos, thinking strategically, and helping clients make smarter technology decisions that actually move their businesses forward.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients while coordinating internally with consultants, vendors, projects, procurement, and leadership to ensure things get done properly, consistently, and proactively.

You’ll lead roadmap conversations, drive modernization initiatives, uncover AI opportunities, reduce risk, improve operational maturity, and help clients feel confident in where their technology is headed.

If you naturally think in systems, enjoy simplifying complexity, ask smart questions, and love turning ideas into practical execution then you will love this role.

Who we are

We’re a fun and forward thinking tech company specializing in proactive technology, cybersecurity and AI. In a nutshell We take technology from annoying to awesome!

Our Purpose

Transform how people and organizations use technology; leaving people feeling Smarter and Fired Up!

Our Values

We Want to Hire You, If:

You:

See AI as a business transformation tool, not just a chatbot
Naturally look for inefficiencies and think in workflows
Understand that the future of consulting is proactive, automated, strategic, and AI-enabled
Want to help organizations rethink how work gets done
Like building structure, systems, and long-term plans
Enjoy solving complex business and technology problems
Prefer proactive work over reactive firefighting
Ask “why” before jumping to solutions
Can simplify technical concepts for non-technical people
Enjoy client relationships but don’t need to be the loudest person in the room
Like autonomy, accountability, and ownership
Get satisfaction from making things run better, smarter, and cleaner
Enjoy balancing big-picture thinking with operational execution
Are thoughtful, analytical, strategic, process-oriented, calm under pressure, and naturally focused on building scalable, effective solutions.
Can create alignment across teams, bring clarity to priorities, and elevate accountability through calm, organized leadership
You come with the batteries included - experienced, proactive, and ready to contribute from day one.
Get fired up about growing revenue across your client base by delivering great, reliable advice that earns trust and deepens every client relationship

Qualifications

7+ years in MSP consulting, IT strategy, digital transformation, vCIO, or client-facing technology advisory

Experience leading roadmap, modernization, or operational improvement initiatives
Experience leading teams
Comfortable presenting to executives and leadership teams
Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Able to manage complexity without creating chaos
Experience with Microsoft 365, cybersecurity strategy, operational maturity, or AI enablement is a strong asset
Experience helping organizations evaluate, adopt, govern, or operationalize AI solutions is considered a major asset.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field preferred
