Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Apache Camel XML DSL routes within Spring Boot applications.
- Integrate SOAP, REST, and GraphQL APIs.
- Transform XML and JSON messages using JAXB, XSLT, and XPath.
- Write automated tests covering route functionality, errors, faults, and timeouts.
- Maintain API documentation and support Java, Spring Boot, and Camel upgrades.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, and documentation.
- Senior level: Lead integration design, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members.
Technical Skills
- Languages & Frameworks: Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x/4.x, Hibernate/JPA.
- Integration: Apache Camel 4.x, XML DSL, SOAP, REST, GraphQL.
- Data Processing: XML, JSON, SAX, DOM, JAXB, XSLT, XPath.
- Tools & Deployment: Maven, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of Java development experience (6+ years for senior roles).
- 6+ years of hands-on Apache Camel 3.x+ experience using XML DSL (mandatory).
- 3+ years of production experience with Spring Boot 3.x+ and Hibernate/JPA.
- Experience integrating financial or core banking systems using SOAP, REST, and GraphQL.
- Strong knowledge of XML/JSON processing and automated integration testing.
- Working knowledge of Maven, Git, and Docker.
