Role: PL/SQL Developer
Location:Montreal, QC - Canada - Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite
Client: Sincera (A part Of Virtusa)
Job Type: Contract
Rate : CAD 65/Hr
Required Skills
Expertise in DB2 UDB or PL/SQL with writing complex data retrieval queries and stored procedures
Expertise in Linux/Unix Shell Scripting
Solid experience with Python / PERL.
Good knowledge of Autosys or any similar scheduling tool
Knowledge and good understanding of object-oriented programming
Detail oriented, ability to turn deliverables around quickly with high degree of accuracy
Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret business requirements and produce functional and technical design documents
Good time management skills – ability to prioritize and multi-task, handling multiple efforts at once
Strong desire to understand and learn domain
Desired Skills
Experience in Green Plum
Experience with Informatica
Experience in a financial services/banking industry
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, equivalent field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in developing queries, scripts, and procedures with DB2 UDB or PL/SQL database.

Responsibilities
Develop complex data retrieval queries and stored procedures using DB2 UDB or PL/SQL, and create scripts using Linux/Unix shell scripting and Python or Perl. Interpret business requirements and produce functional and technical design documents while managing multiple efforts accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field, or equivalent experience, and at least seven years of experience developing queries, scripts, and procedures with DB2 UDB or PL/SQL. Candidates should also have experience with shell scripting, Python or Perl, and a scheduling tool such as Autosys; Greenplum, Informatica, and financial services experience are desired.
