Must-Have Requirements
- Strong vendor management experience
- Knowledge and experience leading/managing RFBs (Request for Bid)
- Ability to oversee governance and communications
- Strong communication skills (role will interact with executives)
- Strong documentation experience
- Experience managing resources for large data migration activities
- Strong project management fundamentals: planning, delivery, risk/issue management, problem solving, organization
- Knowledge/understanding of:
- AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) and related regulations
- GO-ITS standards
Responsibilities / Key Skills (General – 60%)
- Lead project delivery with strong PM, communication, leadership, organization, planning, problem-solving, and risk management skills
- Gather, develop, and document business requirements and develop Business Cases
- Demonstrate business case competencies including:
- justification for undertaking a project/program/portfolio
- future-state vision
- value and benefits to the business
- evaluation of benefits, cost, and risks across options
- rationale for preferred solution
- OPS methodology/template business case experience is preferred
- Present business cases at executive committees and obtain approvals
- Map business requirements to new system functionality
- Develop/execute test cases, track/monitor application defects
- Identify risks/gaps and propose mitigation approaches
- Support organizational development, strategy development, business planning, and Ministry funding requests
- Build/manage integrated project plan, schedule, deliverables, scope
- Manage project budgets including monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to ensure targets are met
- Work effectively under tight timelines and drive outcomes
Technical Skills (40%)
- Preferred experience procuring and delivering cloud solutions and supporting data migration to cloud
- Knowledge/understanding of:
- AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) and related regulations
- GO-ITS standards
- Experience using Azure DevOps (MS DevOps) and MS Teams for project execution
- Ability to recommend acquisition of software, hardware, and technology resources
- Experience coordinating project monitoring, troubleshooting issues, resolving problems, and ensuring project effectiveness

Requirements
