Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables, then set up and adjust production machinery and tools. Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools and verify machined part dimensions using precision measuring instruments.
Requirements
The role requires a college/CEGEP education, one to less than two years of experience, and a Machinist Trade Certification. Candidates should be familiar with precision measuring tools and machining equipment, including water jet processes, automatic lathes, milling machines, and CNC machines.
