Join our Security team at Techo-Bloc! We have an opening for a Security Agent position to work in both our Saint-Hubert and Chambly locations.

Overview of Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage in both our Chambly and Saint-Hubert locations;
- Act proactively to detect, monitor, and report any potential security threats - dangerous situations, suspicious behavior, or other concerns - promptly notifying the Security Manager;
- Maintain continuous surveillance of the premises using the camera system and alarms (intrusion, fire), and respond quickly to any alerts;
- Conduct regular patrols inside and outside the facilities, on foot or by vehicle, in accordance with established protocols;
- Respond appropriately in emergency situations (theft, intrusion, altercation, fire, etc.), including physical interventions when necessary (evacuations, first aid);
- Communicate with emergency services as needed and work collaboratively with first responders;
- Apply occupational health and safety policies and procedures to promote a strong prevention culture;
- Resolve conflicts in collaboration with management;
- Control access to the premises, including greeting visitors, suppliers, and other individuals;
- Write clear and detailed incident reports to document events and preserve evidence;
- Perform any other related duties.
- Hold a valid Private Security Bureau (BSP) licence;
- Hold a valid First Aid certification for workplace first responders;
- Hold a valid driver’s licence with no more than three demerit points;
- Good visual acuity;
- Ability to react quickly and effectively in emergency situations;
- Ability to kneel, crouch, move quickly, and use safety equipment;
- Strong analytical, judgment, crisis management, and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong observation skills, self-control, and teamwork;
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset. English proficiency is required to serve customers based in the United States and outside Quebec.

Responsibilities
Protect employees and company property by monitoring cameras and alarms, conducting facility patrols, controlling access, and identifying and reporting potential security threats. Respond to emergencies, coordinate with emergency services, support health and safety procedures, resolve conflicts, and document incidents.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid Private Security Bureau (BSP) licence, workplace first-aid certification, and a valid driver’s licence with no more than three demerit points. They must have good visual acuity, be able to perform physical tasks and respond effectively to emergencies, and demonstrate sound judgment, observation, self-control, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; English proficiency is required, while French-English bilingualism is an asset.
