Original job description

Your Next Challenge at Techso

Do you have solid experience in cloud administration and want to contribute to complex technology projects for leading organizations?

Do you enjoy designing reliable cloud environments, automating infrastructure, and helping organizations modernize their technology architecture?

Techso is looking for a Cloud Administrator – Microsoft Azure to support clients in designing, deploying, securing, and optimizing their cloud environments.

In this role, you will collaborate with business and technical teams to understand client needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud architectures.

Who We Are

Founded in Montreal in 2014, Techso helps organizations accelerate their digital transformation through three areas of expertise:

IT Infrastructure Management;
Custom Application Development;
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

Our team works with recognized clients across a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, finance, events, and watchmaking.

At Techso, we value the quality of our projects and relationships over volume. Our core values - Fun, Trust, Efficiency, and Quality - guide both the way we work with our clients and how we collaborate as colleagues.

What You’ll Do

Depending on the projects assigned to you, you will:

Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to understand client needs;
Recommend cloud solutions aligned with business and technology objectives;
Design scalable and secure cloud architectures that comply with organizational standards;
Select appropriate cloud services and manage application deployments;
Contribute to the development and implementation of cloud governance practices;
Produce high-value solution architecture documentation and deliverables;
Provide technical expertise to support strategic IT decisions;
Analyze and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructure and services;
Design, implement, and maintain system monitoring solutions;
Automate cloud platform deployment, configuration, and administration;
Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting tools;
Help secure cloud environments through DevSecOps practices;
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams throughout the solution lifecycle.

The Profile We’re Looking For

You Have

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role;
Strong expertise in large-scale virtualization and cloud environments;
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS;
Good knowledge of Linux, Windows, and macOS environments;
Experience with automation and configuration management tools, including Ansible;
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and processes;
A good understanding of DevSecOps, certificate management, and cloud security practices;
Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and performance management solutions;
The ability to analyze business needs and recommend appropriate cloud architectures;
Natural leadership skills and the ability to bring multidisciplinary teams together;
A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach;
Strong adaptability and prioritization skills;
The flexibility to meet with clients throughout the Montreal area;
The ability to communicate professionally in both French and English, as you will collaborate with colleagues and clients located across Quebec, Canada, and internationally.

Nice to Have

A Microsoft Azure certification;
Experience with penetration testing or cloud security assessments;
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform;
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins;
Knowledge of observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, or Prometheus;
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies;
Experience in solution architecture or cloud governance;
Consulting experience or experience working across multiple client environments.

You do not need to master every cloud technology. Above all, we are looking for an autonomous, collaborative, and solution-oriented professional who can build reliable environments and guide clients through important technology decisions.

What Techso Offers

Challenging cloud projects with recognized clients.
A high-impact role in the design, security, and evolution of cloud environments.
A flexible hybrid work model adapted to project and client needs.
Bright offices in the heart of Old Montreal, featuring a rooftop terrace.
Complimentary breakfast, snacks, and coffee available at the office.
A vibrant social and sports club, fully sponsored by Techso.
Mobility and travel opportunities through our consultant mobility program.
The opportunity to contribute beyond client assignments through internal initiatives that help shape the company’s future.
A collaborative community of experts that values knowledge sharing and professional development.
Comprehensive private group insurance tailored to your needs.
A culture built on Fun, Trust, Efficiency, and Quality.
