Original job description

Your Next Challenge at Techso

Do you have solid experience in PLM and want to design DELMIA solutions that address the challenges faced by industrial organizations?

Do you enjoy understanding business needs, defining robust architectures, and helping clients improve their manufacturing processes?

Techso is looking for a DELMIA Solution Architect – 3DEXPERIENCE to support clients in designing, integrating, and deploying digital solutions across Canada, France, and internationally.

In this role, you will collaborate with business and technical teams to translate client requirements into solutions tailored to their industrial operations. You will provide architectural guidance throughout each project, from initial design through to validation of the deployed solutions.

Who We Are

Founded in Montreal in 2014, Techso helps organizations accelerate their digital transformation through three areas of expertise:

IT Infrastructure Management;
Custom Application Development;
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

Our team works with recognized clients across a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, finance, events, and watchmaking.

At Techso, we value the quality of our projects and relationships over volume. Our core values - Fun, Trust, Efficiency, and Quality - guide both the way we work with our clients and how we collaborate as colleagues.

What You’ll Do

Depending on the projects assigned to you, you will:

Facilitate workshops with business and technical teams to understand client needs, industrial processes, and constraints;
Define the functional and organizational scope of projects, along with the DELMIA solution architecture;
Consolidate requirements and ensure they align with project objectives;
Design and evolve application, information, and technology architectures;
Develop transition plans from existing environments to target architectures;
Recommend appropriate solutions in collaboration with the software vendor, assessing out-of-the-box (OOTB) functionality and customization requirements;
Advise business teams on technology choices and ensure seamless integration with existing systems;
Guide solution implementation and support teams throughout deployment and validation;
Act as the client’s primary point of contact for architecture-related matters throughout the project;
Support teams in the ongoing improvement of solutions and industrial processes.

The Profile We’re Looking For

You Have

A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science;
A minimum of six years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM);
Strong expertise in Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform, particularly DELMIA solutions;
Good knowledge of DELMIA applications for Manufacturing Item Definition, Work Instructions, Process Planning, and Robotics;
Knowledge of solutions within the DELMIA ecosystem, including Apriso, Ortems, and Quintiq;
Experience with large-scale IT projects involving solution architecture, software architecture, implementation, and validation;
Experience facilitating workshops with different business teams to clarify requirements and support solution deployment;
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments;
The ability to analyze complex requirements and recommend appropriate architectures;
The ability to communicate recommendations clearly and guide multidisciplinary teams;
The flexibility to meet with clients throughout the Montreal area;
A willingness to take on international assignments and relocate according to project needs;
The ability to communicate professionally in both French and English, as you will collaborate with colleagues and clients located across Quebec, Canada, and internationally.

Some assignments may require defence-related security clearance. You must be willing to complete the necessary clearance process in accordance with project requirements.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of CATIA or ENOVIA.

Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for someone who can understand each client’s operational needs, define well-structured solutions, and collaborate with teams to deliver successful projects.

What Techso Offers

Challenging industrial projects with recognized clients in Canada and internationally.
A high-impact role in the design and evolution of DELMIA solutions.
A flexible hybrid work model adapted to project and client needs.
Bright offices in the heart of Old Montreal, featuring a rooftop terrace.
Complimentary breakfast, snacks, and coffee available at the office.
A vibrant social and sports club, fully sponsored by Techso.
Mobility and travel opportunities through our consultant mobility program.
The opportunity to contribute beyond client assignments through internal initiatives that help shape the company’s future.
A collaborative community of experts that values knowledge sharing and professional development.
Comprehensive private group insurance tailored to your needs.
A culture built on Fun, Trust, Efficiency, and Quality.
