Original job description

Your Next Challenge at Techso

Have you recently graduated in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and are looking to launch your career in an exciting and meaningful direction?

Would you like to leverage your CAD and design expertise while discovering the world of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)? Are you interested in working on international projects with some of the world's leading industrial companies?

Techso is looking for a PLM Functional Analyst to support our clients in defining, analyzing, and implementing digital solutions across Canada and internationally.

In this role, you'll be much more than a CAD specialist. You'll become a trusted advisor, helping clients understand their business needs, recommend innovative solutions, and support the digital transformation of their engineering processes.

Who We Are

Founded in Montreal in 2014, Techso helps organizations accelerate their digital transformation through three areas of expertise:

IT Infrastructure Management;
Custom Application Development;
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

Our team works with recognized clients across a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, finance, events, and watchmaking.

At Techso, we value the quality of our projects and relationships over volume. Our core values - Fun, Trust, Efficiency, and Quality - guide both the way we work with our clients and how we collaborate as colleagues.

What You'll Do

Depending on the projects assigned to you, you will:

Gather, analyze, and document client functional requirements;
Write detailed functional specifications;
Participate in defining and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
Support change management initiatives and deliver end-user training;
Provide functional support during deployment and post-production activities;
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle;
Collaborate closely with technical teams and support engineering activities;
Help implement PLM solutions that meet our clients' business needs;
Contribute to large-scale projects within the manufacturing, aerospace, and industrial sectors.

The Profile We're Looking For

You Have

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field;
An internship, co-op experience, or a strong interest in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Industry 4.0;
Knowledge of one or more Dassault Systèmes solutions such as 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA, ENOVIA, or DELMIA;
Experience with 3D CAD modeling using CATIA or Siemens NX;
The ability to communicate professionally in both French and English, as you will collaborate with colleagues and clients located in Quebec, across Canada, and internationally;
A willingness to travel internationally for assignments ranging from 6 to 24 months;
The ability to work on projects that may require security clearance or defense clearance;
Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, and a desire to learn in a fast-paced technological environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with Dassault Systèmes PLM solutions;
Knowledge of manufacturing or industrial engineering processes;
Experience in client-facing roles, functional analysis, or process improvement;
Experience supporting change management or end-user training;
Previous international experience.

You don't need prior experience as a Functional Analyst. Above all, we're looking for a curious, motivated professional who wants to leverage their engineering background while growing in the world of digital transformation.

What Techso Offers

Challenging international projects with leading industrial organizations.
International mobility opportunities with assignments across Europe, North America, and Asia.
A flexible hybrid work model adapted to project and client needs.
Bright offices in the heart of Old Montreal, featuring a rooftop terrace.
Complimentary breakfast, snacks, coffee, and Friday beers at the office.
A vibrant social club, fully sponsored by Techso, offering activities throughout the year.
The opportunity to contribute beyond client projects through internal initiatives that help shape the company's future.
A collaborative community of experts that encourages knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous professional growth.
Comprehensive private group insurance tailored to your needs.
A culture built on Fun, Trust, Efficiency, and Quality.
