Original job description

Your Next Challenge at Techso

Do you have extensive software development experience and want to apply your Microsoft Azure expertise to complex, high-impact projects?

Do you enjoy designing modern cloud architectures, building robust integrations, and helping development teams adopt strong technical practices?

Techso is looking for a Senior Microsoft Azure Developer to contribute to large-scale projects for one of its clients located in Montreal.

In this role, you will act as a technical reference for Azure solutions. You will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and support of backend, serverless, and event-driven solutions while working closely with development teams and project stakeholders.

Who We Are

Founded in Montreal in 2014, Techso helps organizations accelerate their digital transformation through three areas of expertise:

IT Infrastructure Management;
Custom Application Development;
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

Our team works with recognized clients across a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, finance, events, and watchmaking.

At Techso, we value the quality of our projects and relationships over volume. Our core values - Fun, Trust, Efficiency, and Quality - guide both the way we work with our clients and how we collaborate as colleagues.

What You’ll Do

Depending on the projects assigned to you, you will:

Act as a technical expert for Microsoft Azure cloud solutions;
Support development teams in designing and evolving cloud-based applications;
Design and build robust, secure, and scalable application integrations;
Develop backend solutions using .NET and C#;
Leverage Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and App Services;
Design modern serverless and event-driven architectures;
Integrate solutions with APIs, third-party systems, and platforms such as Dynamics 365;
Automate data flows and business processes using Azure-native services;
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps;
Configure and deploy cloud environments, including Key Vault, API Management, Service Bus, and monitoring tools;
Support production applications through monitoring, diagnostics, and incident resolution;
Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure solution performance, security, and reliability;
Share knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.

The Profile We’re Looking For

You Have

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
A minimum of ten years of software development experience;
Deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem;
Strong backend development experience with .NET and C#;
Excellent knowledge of Azure services, including Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Storage, Service Bus, and Key Vault;
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, source code management, and deployment automation;
A strong understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, high availability, and scalability;
Experience designing serverless solutions and enterprise integrations;
Experience working in an Agile environment;
The ability to act as a technical leader and mentor other team members;
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills;
The ability to communicate professionally in both French and English, as you will collaborate with French- and English-speaking colleagues and clients.

Nice to Have

Experience with Dynamics 365;
Experience with Azure API Management;
Advanced knowledge of event-driven architectures;
Experience with DevSecOps practices and cloud security;
Knowledge of Azure monitoring, logging, and observability tools;
Experience with containers, Kubernetes, or Azure Kubernetes Service;
A Microsoft Azure certification;
Consulting experience or experience working across multiple client environments.

You do not need to know every Azure service. Above all, we are looking for an experienced, structured, and solution-oriented professional who can design reliable environments and guide teams through complex technical decisions.

What Techso Offers

Large-scale technical projects with recognized clients.
A high-impact role in the design and evolution of modern cloud solutions.
A flexible hybrid work model adapted to project and client needs.
Bright offices in the heart of Old Montreal, featuring a rooftop terrace.
Complimentary breakfast, snacks, and coffee available at the office.
A vibrant social and sports club, fully sponsored by Techso.
Mobility and travel opportunities through our consultant mobility program.
The opportunity to contribute beyond client assignments through internal initiatives that help shape the company’s future.
A collaborative community of experts that values knowledge sharing and professional development.
Comprehensive private group insurance tailored to your needs.
A culture built on Fun, Trust, Efficiency, and Quality.
