Role Overview

We are seeking a highly hands-on Azure Platform Engineer with strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, cloud automation, and platform engineering. The engineer will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and highly automated Azure environments and supporting development teams with reliable cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain enterprise Azure cloud platforms and infrastructure.

Develop and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Build reusable Terraform modules and automate infrastructure provisioning.

Implement and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Work with Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards and related Azure DevOps services.

Develop CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions where required.

Manage source control and branching strategies using GitHub, Git and Azure DevOps.

Implement cloud automation using PowerShell and Python.

Deploy and manage Azure resources using Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep and Terraform.

Implement Azure networking, identity, security, monitoring, and governance capabilities.

Work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized workloads.

Implement cloud security and enterprise governance using Azure-native services.

Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application platform issues.

Collaborate with application, security, architecture, and engineering teams.

Establish platform engineering standards, reusable patterns, and automation frameworks.

Participate in production support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable Azure platforms, using Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools to automate provisioning and manage cloud resources. Develop CI/CD pipelines and platform standards, support development teams, and collaborate on security, governance, troubleshooting, and production incident resolution.

Requirements

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Terraform, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. Relevant capabilities include Azure networking, identity, security, monitoring, governance, AKS, and scripting with PowerShell or Python; Terraform Cloud or Enterprise experience is preferred.
