Role Overview
We are seeking a highly hands-on Azure Platform Engineer with strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
Experience level - 12 to 15 years
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, cloud automation, and platform engineering. The engineer will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and highly automated Azure environments and supporting development teams with reliable cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise Azure cloud platforms and infrastructure.
- Develop and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Build reusable Terraform modules and automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Implement and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards and related Azure DevOps services.
- Develop CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions where required.
- Manage source control and branching strategies using GitHub, Git and Azure DevOps.
- Implement cloud automation using PowerShell and Python.
- Deploy and manage Azure resources using Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep and Terraform.
- Implement Azure networking, identity, security, monitoring, and governance capabilities.
- Work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized workloads.
- Implement cloud security and enterprise governance using Azure-native services.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application platform issues.
- Collaborate with application, security, architecture, and engineering teams.
- Establish platform engineering standards, reusable patterns, and automation frameworks.
- Participate in production support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Demonstrated experience building and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Strong experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
- Experience working in enterprise environments with multiple development and engineering teams.
- Candidates should be hands-on engineers, not primarily project managers or architects.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Azure Platform Engineer who can independently:
Design → Automate → Deploy → Secure → Monitor → Troubleshoot
Azure infrastructure and platform services using Microsoft technologies, Terraform, Git, and modern CI/CD practices.
