Original job description

Business Analyst – Business Change & Training Support

Contract: 6 months

Location: Vancouver, BC – Hybrid

Onsite: 2–3 days/week

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong change management and systems training experience to support a major technology implementation.

This is a hands-on role focused on helping employees successfully transition to new systems and business processes. The consultant will work closely with the project team, Organizational Change Management (OCM), business stakeholders and subject matter experts.

A major focus of this assignment will be training readiness and delivery for an implementation, including developing training materials, personally delivering instructor-led training and supporting users through go-live.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support business readiness, training, adoption and post-go-live activities.
Develop clear, role-based training materials for different user groups.
Create presentations, facilitator guides, exercises, user guides, job aids and reference materials.
Personally deliver instructor-led and hands-on systems training, both virtually and onsite.
Translate complex system functionality and business processes into practical, easy-to-understand training.
Work with BAs, SMEs, business owners and operational teams to validate training content.
Update training materials as system functionality and business processes change.
Coordinate training schedules, learner groups, attendance and session logistics.
Track training completion, feedback and adoption issues.
Identify training gaps and recommend additional support or reinforcement.
Participate in requirements, process and solution-validation sessions to understand how changes will impact users.
Work closely with Project Management and OCM to support multiple releases of the Helm implementation.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, business change, systems training, learning delivery or similar technology implementation roles.
Strong experience creating and personally delivering instructor-led systems training.
Experience developing training presentations, exercises, facilitator guides, user guides and job aids.
Strong understanding of business change and user adoption.
Experience working on technology/system implementations.

Nice to Have

Experience in any of the following would be particularly valuable:

Frontline, operational, field or shift-based employee training
ERP or workforce-management systems
Payroll, scheduling or timekeeping systems
Multi-release or phased system implementations
Train-the-trainer programs
Transportation, logistics, marine or similar operational environments
