This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and has experience overseeing complex equipment installations, coordinating subcontractors, and driving projects from initial site mobilization through commissioning and final customer acceptance.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in conveyor systems, automated material handling equipment, warehouse automation, or large-scale electro-mechanical installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily onsite operations, ensuring installation activities are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation teams, subcontractors, engineering personnel, and commissioning resources.
  • Oversee installation of automated material handling systems, conveyor equipment, and related industrial automation technologies.
  • Champion onsite safety initiatives, enforce compliance requirements, and maintain high standards for quality and workmanship.
  • Manage site readiness, equipment deliveries, materials, inventory, and installation resources.
  • Coordinate commissioning, system testing, punch-list resolution, and customer acceptance activities.
  • Serve as the primary onsite customer contact, providing project updates, facilitating meetings, and resolving issues.
  • Monitor project schedules, resource utilization, site-related costs, and potential risks.
  • Lead project closeout activities, including documentation, customer sign-offs, and site demobilization.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Site Management, Construction Management, Project Management, or Industrial Equipment Installation.
  • Experience overseeing automated electro-mechanical equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage onsite contractors, installation crews, and multiple project workstreams.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial safety practices, quality requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience coordinating mechanical and electrical installation activities.
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with materials management, inventory systems, and MRP/ERP platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.

Preferred Experience

  • Warehouse automation and automated material handling systems.
  • Conveyor systems, sortation equipment, and distribution center automation.
  • Large-scale industrial equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Fulfillment center or distribution center construction and automation projects.
  • Experience working on projects for major e-commerce, logistics, or distribution organizations.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a hands-on, solutions-oriented site leader who can take ownership of a complex installation project, effectively manage multiple teams, and confidently represent the project onsite.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems in real time, and ensuring that installation, commissioning, and customer deliverables are executed successfully.

If you have a strong background in industrial automation, material handling systems, or large-scale equipment installations, we'd welcome the opportunity to connect.
