Full Stack Developer – Vancouver

Location: Vancouver, BC – In Office

Employment: Permanent, Full-Time onsite

Salary $100-110K onsite Downtown Vancouver

We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a growing technology team in Vancouver. This is a hands-on development role working across modern front-end applications, backend services, APIs and cloud infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain scalable front-end and backend applications.
  • Develop with Angular/React, Node.js and Express.
  • Design and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
  • Build applications using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Work with AWS cloud services.
  • Support automated deployments, CI/CD and infrastructure/environment-as-code practices.
  • Create automated tests and troubleshoot issues across the full stack.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with product, design and engineering teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong JavaScript/ECMAScript 6 and Node.js experience.
  • Strong experience with Angular and/or React.
  • Experience with Express.js, REST APIs, web services and microservices.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
  • Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, API Gateway, DynamoDB or similar).
  • Experience with automated deployment tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
  • Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD and environment-as-code.
  • Experience creating automated test suites.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and distributed/messaging architectures.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Native iOS or Android development experience.
  • Open-source contributions on GitHub or NPM.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS/SCSS, Bootstrap, responsive design and MySQL.
