PMO Specialist & Power BI Developer
Location: Calgary, AB
Work Arrangement: 100% On-site – 5 days per week
Contract Rate: $70–$76/hour
Position Type: Contract
We’re looking for a PMO Specialist & Power BI Developer who can bring together strong project governance, process improvement and reporting/analytics experience.
This is a hands-on role supporting the development and continuous improvement of an established Project Lifecycle framework. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Project Controls and other internal stakeholders to improve how projects are governed, reported and delivered.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Improve and maintain Project Lifecycle processes, procedures and standards
- Develop project templates, documentation and supporting resources
- Build and enhance Power BI dashboards for project and management reporting
- Develop AI-enabled solutions and Copilot agents to automate workflows and support project teams
- Create training materials, user guides and reference documentation
- Gather stakeholder feedback and turn lessons learned into practical process improvements
- Improve consistency and standardization across PMO operations
- Support governance practices within EPC and EPCM project environments
- Identify opportunities to streamline project processes and reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in PMO, project governance or management systems
- Strong understanding of project lifecycles and project delivery processes
- Hands-on Power BI development experience
- Experience creating or working with Copilot Agents / AI-enabled solutions
- Strong process development and documentation skills
- Microsoft 365 expertise, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience within energy, infrastructure, EPC or EPCM environments is highly desirable
- Diploma or degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management
This position is on-site in Calgary 5 days per week.

Requirements

Candidates should also have experience with Copilot agents or AI-enabled solutions, strong process documentation and stakeholder communication skills, Microsoft 365 expertise, and a diploma or degree in Business, Engineering, or Project Management; energy, infrastructure, EPC, or EPCM experience is highly desirable.
