Role : BSA/Data Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (3 days a week hybrid)
Duration: 6 -12 Months
Requirements and responsibilities
What you’ll do
- Working with the Project teams, business stakeholders, technical SMEs, , Data Insights on a growing portfolio of interactive dashboards across many product teams
- Create new datasets and sophisticated dashboards
- Understand the data and business processes across all applications, all data domains
- Advocate best practices for development across our teams
What you’ll bring:
Must Have
- Expert in SQL, Hadoop, Big Data, Hive
- Strong experience in Azure Data Services analysis, BI Analysis
- Ability to analyse the construction of existing reports and reverse engineer table relationships etc
- Strong knowledge of the Retail Domain and experience with various stages of data warehouse projects, including data extraction, cleansing, aggregation, validation, transformation, and loading.
- Hands on exp with the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, Hive, Sqoop and YARN.

Responsibilities

Requirements
Requires expert SQL, Hadoop, Big Data, and Hive skills, along with strong experience in Azure Data Services and business intelligence analysis. Candidates should have retail domain knowledge, hands-on experience with HDFS, Hive, Sqoop, and YARN, and experience across data warehouse processes including extraction, cleansing, aggregation, validation, transformation, and loading.
