Sr. FinOps Architect
Toronto, ON
Sr. FinOps Architect within the NGS Cloud Advisory and Consulting Unit, you will lead the FinOps practice and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for clients on cloud cost management and optimization initiatives.
- 9 plus years of experience in cloud infrastructure with at least five years focused on FinOps or cloud cost optimization
- Proven track record of leading FinOps initiatives in large enterprise initiatives and ability to work under limited direction and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Expert level experience with at least two major public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and ability to understand systems at a fundamental level
- Hands-on knowledge of systems metrics and workload characterization and performance tuning
- Deep understanding of cloud pricing models discount options optimization strategies across different cloud providers
