TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Business/Data Analyst
Duration : This is a 12 month contract located in Toronto/Ontario, Hybrid
Job Description
MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:
1.) 5+ years of risk management within FI or healthcare (highly regulated environments)
2.) 5+ years of Business or Data Analyst experiences (Bachelors Degree) or 3+ years of Business/Data Analyst experience (Masters Degree)
3.) Understand concepts of Project Management and Agile mindset (documentations, road mapping etc.)
4.) Writing technical documentation skills
5.) Reading and writing code within Python and SQL
6.) Jira, Confluence, Clarity, SharePoint experience
7.) CoPilot experience
SOFT SKILLS:
1.) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
2.) Well organized, strong time management
3.) Translating technical concepts into business acumen
4.) Open to being flexible with the day to day work
NICE-TO-HAVE
1.) Any AI, Data science or Cloud certifications
2.) Data Science background

Responsibilities
Analyze business and data needs in a highly regulated financial or healthcare environment, and contribute to project documentation and roadmaps. Use Python and SQL to read and write code, communicate technical concepts in business terms, and work flexibly with project teams.
Requirements
Requires 5+ years of risk management experience in financial institutions or healthcare, plus 5+ years of business or data analysis experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with a master's degree. Candidates must have an understanding of project management and Agile, technical writing skills, Python and SQL experience, and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Clarity, SharePoint, and Copilot; AI, data science, or cloud certifications and a data science background are preferred.
