TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Platform Engineer
Duration : This is a 12 months contract located in Toronto, Ont /Hybrid 2 days moving to 4 days down the road
MUST-HAVE HARD SKILLS
1.) DevOps
- Strong experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, release automation, and software delivery modernization.
- Experience implementing modern engineering practices in large enterprise environments.
2.) AI
- Experience evaluating and adopting AI-assisted software development and engineering productivity tools.
- Understanding of practical AI use cases across the software development lifecycle.
3.) GitHub
- Strong experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, source control management, and developer workflows.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot adoption and engineering enablement is an asset.
NICE-TO-HAVE
1.) Platform Engineering
- Experience with internal developer platforms, self-service engineering tools, and developer experience initiatives.
2.) Cloud Technologies
- Experience with cloud-native platforms and modernization initiatives.
3.) Financial Services
- Experience working within large, regulated enterprises or financial services organizations.
